Another pleasure to discover. But promotion would have to be Barolo or Brunello, plus an enormous cigar.Burgundy Addickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12203516889598003723noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5476043688166279353.post-9905868116549405132010-10-29T16:55:18.929+01:002010-10-29T16:55:18.929+01:00I like the Northern Rhone as well - Cote Rotie and...I like the Northern Rhone as well - Cote Rotie and Condrieu when we get promotion! The Petrus is because I've (perhaps not surprisingly) never had any and am willing to try anything once (or maybe I was just thinking of the resale value). For closer to Lyon, I'm not a big fan of Burgundy in general, but the St Josephs from a little south of Lyon hit the right note for my peasants palate. What are we supposed to drink on Saturday if it's a draw?Burgundy Addickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12203516889598003723noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5476043688166279353.post-60303514922962557242010-10-29T13:26:40.540+01:002010-10-29T13:26:40.540+01:00"Police are looking for a man with an English..."Police are looking for a man with an English accent wearing a Charlton shirt and carrying two bottles of Chateau d’YQuem and two bottles of Petrus"<br /><br />Wrong part of France surely - right idea however!
