Remember, a picture is worth a thousand words...
However, the other alternative of a staggered arrival in the ground after kick off with the same in reverse in the last 15 minutes would also be to good effect, but it would also provide the regime with some funds through ad-hoc ticket sales, which I'm against.

Whatever CARD decide to do it will, I fear, be the last chance to protest at a Championship match for some years - at the very least until Duchatelet decides to sell up and take his building plans to another European football ground.
Surely that can be the only reason for Duchatelet and Meire deliberately running the club down to the degree and with the speed that they have.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5476043688166279353.post-19971167997671756532016-04-28T16:54:43.408+01:002016-04-28T16:54:43.408+01:00I am inclined to agree that we owe it to the Boro ...I am inclined to agree that we owe it to the Boro and Brighton to offer the same to Burnley. Afterall, we are going to field the same inept lackies on the pitch. I cant condone a pitch invasion as this is definatley beyond the law. But I wouldn't push a steward to get on and don't think that individuals running on would do any good at all. A near-empty stadium for a chunk of the game might help make Meire look very isolated. Anyway, we've got more than a week for everything to fall into place. And...it doesn't stop there.. so much to look forward to... Points deduction next year and no player with an ounce of sense wanting to stay or sign because Charlton fans sing almost exclusively about a bloke who doesn't attend games and lives in another country. My son asked me last night if I'd go on the pitch - my answer was yes, but I couldn't risk arrest, so reluctantly no unless there were enough numbers to make it impracticable. But we won't I'm sure. I don't give a monkeys about the rest of the football world, as they certainly won't really care about us (Albion aside). The media are a tool (or should it be tools) and comments like Adrian Durham's et al just anger me. But your comment about needing the sympathy of the media and the wider football world for some unknown reason in the future rings true. I have absolute faith in CARD to deliver an effective solution that also retains that sympathy. But like the other comment above, I really would like to just get back to supporting my football team - only when Dr Strangelove has gone.

Pembury AddickAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5476043688166279353.post-86458971219043815662016-04-28T11:03:21.931+01:002016-04-28T11:03:21.931+01:00I agree with all of that. I think it would be counterproductive, and unfair to adversely affect Burnley in any way, but wouldn't agree with a total boycott as this would give Meire a comfortable afternoon which she probably wants but doesn't deserve. Hope that CARD can intensify the personal pressure on her in some way without the whole continued protest, justified as it is, becoming tiresome. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
